1. Arang Kel

Arang Kel is one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan and the Neelam Valley of Azad Kashmir. It is located above Kel at an altitude of 8379 feet. It is a small village and picturesque place that attracts tourists. Arang Kel is the best place to spend holidays due to its lush green land with amazing mountains in the background. Wooden huts scattered around the fields look very beautiful. There are no electricity poles, television, sounds of cars and pollution, just a lot of peace which gives your mind a fresh and healthy experience.

To reach Arang Kel you must start your journey from Muzafarabad. It takes you almost 110km to get to Sharda. Kel is 19km away from Shadra. once you reach Kel, it requires a 2km trek to reach Arang Valley. From there you find a 1km long chairlift under the administration of the Pakistan Army to reach the Arang Kel.

The lush green meadow is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa near Naran Valley, named Siri Paye. It is 6km away from Shogran and is one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan. Siri Paye is a high mountain at an evaluation of almost 9498ft above sea level. Makra Peak, Musa ka Musala, Malaika Parbat, and the mountains of Kashmir surrounded the Siri Paye which attracts the people. Siri Paye is one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan. It is also the best camping spot.

There are two clear crystal lakes called Siri Lake and Paya Lake. When you are on the way to Paye you can find a Siri lake. Paye Lake is located in the middle of the meadow. To reach Siri Paye you can rent a jeep from Kiwai. Otherwise, you have to walk almost 2-3 hours to reach the meadow. Summer is the best time to explore Siri Paye and most tourists visit in summer.

The Panjkora river runs through the Kumrat valley which increases the attraction of tourists. Kumrat is also famous for its large and beautiful deodar forest.

Kumrat Valley is almost 370km away from Islamabad the capital city of Pakistan. It takes 8-9 hours to drive to reach Kumrat Valley. From Mingora Sawat, Kumrat is almost 156km away and it takes 6 hours to drive to get to Kumrat Valley.

4. Katas Raj Temple

Katas Raj temple is located near Chakwal in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is also called Qila Katas. A complex of several Hindu Temples connected to one another by walkways. It is a historical place in Pakistan and a holy place for the Hindu community. There is a pond of greenish and blue water at the center of the temple. The Hindu Mythology that said the pond is the teardrops of Shiva, the Hindu Deity Lord. Hindus believe that after the death of Shiva’s wife, one tear of Shiva fell in Katas and formed a pond and another tear fell in Ajmer and formed Pushkar pond.

6. Ranikot Fort

Ranikot Fort is a historical place located near Sann, Jamshoro District, Sindh. The original purpose and architects are unknown. However, it is believed that it is originated under the Talpurs and constructed during the administration of Nawab Wali Muhammed Leghari. Nawab Wali Muhammad Leghari was the Prime Minister of Sindh during the Talpurs dynasty. Ranikot Fort is the largest Fort in the world. The length of the Fort is 36km. It is also known as the Great Wall of Sindh. “Miri Fort” is also a small Fort inside the main Fort which is 3km away from the main gate. Miri Fort was the palace of the Mir Royal family.

Ranikot Fort is one of the best historical places to visit. it is very huge, connecting many desolate mountains of the Kirthar hills. Fort is inside of Kirthar National Park, the second largest National park in Pakistan. Ranikot Fort is 90km to the north of Hyderabad. Fort can be accessed easily from Sann as Sann is an hour’s away from Karachi.

7. Fairy Meadows

Fairy Meadows is located in Diamer District, Gilgit Baltistan at an altitude of 10800ft above sea level. It is the base of Nanga Parbat and serves as a launching point for trekkers summiting on the Rahikot face of the Nanga Parbat. The most interesting thing is the view of Nanga Parbat from the Fairy Meadows which gives a unique and satisfying experience. Nanga Parbat is the 9th highest mountain in the world and the second highest in Pakistan. Fairy Meadows is the most beautiful site in the northern area of Pakistan as govt of Pakistan declared Fairy Meadows a National Park.

But reaching Fairy Meadows is not easy as the road was ranked as the second deadliest road in the world. The road is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall. The best time to visit this place is June and July because it can be accessed easily during the summer season. You can reach Fairy Meadows by a 19km jeep track starting from Raikot Bridge on Karakoram highway to the Tato. After that, it takes 3-4 hours of hiking on a 5km trek to reach Fairy Meadows.

8. Rati Gali Lake

Rati Gali Lake is a glacial lake in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir Pakistan. It is one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of 12,083ft. This lake is very famous in Pakistan due to its natural beauty and most People visit this place in the summer season. As the Summer season starts from May to August and it’s the best time to visit. To read Rati Gali Lake Muzafarabad is the nearest city. You have to reach Dowarian, a small village in Azad Kashmir from Muzafarabad. After reaching Dowarain there is a jeep track for a couple of hours which takes you to the base camp area of Rati Gali Lake. From there you have to trek for almost 2 hours to reach the lake.

9. Khewra Salt Mine

Khewra Salt Mine is located in the north of Pind Dadan Khan city region of Punjab Pakistan. It is also called Mayo Salt Mine and it is the second-largest Salt Mine in the world. It is an attraction for tourists because of its beauty and new experience. You have to go inside the Mine through the tunnel using an Electric Train or just by simply walking. As everywhere there is salt inside the tunnel it gives a unique experience.

There are many things inside of mine that attract the visitors like a model of Minar-e-Pakistan, a dispensary, Chagai mountain, and some other colorful buildings. These all things are made of salt bricks with light inside. The Sheesh Mahal and the Palace of Mirrors are other attractions in the mine.

Khewra Salt Mine is famous due to its Pink Salt production. Tourists can buy some gifts for relatives like lamps, toys for children, and models of famous places. They are also made of Salt. The Salt Mine is almost 170km away from Islamabad. You can reach it easily in Summer or in the winter season via the M-2 motorway.

10. Katpana Desert

Katpana Desert is also called a Cold Desert or Biama Nakpo which is located near Skardu Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.
