1. Lake Saif-ul-Malook

One of the most popular destinations in Naran Valley is Lake Saif-ul-Malook, located at an altitude of 3,224 meters above sea level and 9km away from Naran City. The Lake is located in the heart of high peaks mountains with its crystal clear water and green lush land making the lake, the most visited place in Pakistan. Lake is easily accessible in the summer months which are from May to September. However, visiting the Lake in winter months is limited due to heavy snowfall.

2. Babusar Pass

If you are visiting Naran Valley then you should not miss the chance to check out Babusar Pass, situated at an altitude of 4,173 meters. It is the most famous place because it is the highest point in the Valley and serves as a gateway to Gilgit-Baltistan. It is accessible in the summer months which are from May to September however the movement towards this place is limited in the winter season due to heavy snowfall.

Batakundi is a famous and small tourist town located 15km from Naran at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level. It is a popular stopover for tourists traveling across the Babusar Pass. Batakundi is a beautiful village in the Naran Valley surrounded by lush green meadows and mountains. The gentle sound of the Kunhar and Lohar rivers, which flow through the valley, provides a peaceful and amazing atmosphere. Many people visit this place to see the Batakundi waterfall. It is also the last town in Valley that remains open all year.

Shogran is also one of the most famous and beautiful places in Pakistan. It is a hill station in Northern Pakistan at an altitude of 2,362 meters above sea level. If you want to explore incredible views then Shogran Valley is a must-visit place for you. The Siri Paye is the most famous meadow in the Shogran. However, in the winter, you must be extremely careful because there is always the possibility of heavy snowfall, and many routes also remain closed in winter.

How to get to Naran Valley from Islamabad?

Naran Valley is approximately 280 kilometers from beautiful Islamabad, the capital city, and takes approximately 5 hours to reach, depending on road and weather conditions. To get to Naran, take the M1 highway and then the M15 Hazara motorway towards Mansehra. Then take the Naran Valley road to reach the valley, which is nearly 100 kilometers from Mansehra.
